What to use to sweeten peach tea

To sweeten peach tea, use honey or a simple syrup, which is just sugar mixed with water, boiled down until thick! You can also add peaches to your simple syrup, as I did with this blackberry simple syrup!

How to make Peach Sun Tea

Sun tea is the easiest beverage you can make!

  1. Place 1 family sized or 3-4 regular tea bags in 2 quarts of water. Wash peaches. Slice fresh, sweet peaches. If you’d like, you can peel the peaches, but this step is unnecessary.
  2. Place tea outside, or on a sunny window for 3-4 hours, until tea is your desired strength. Remove peach slices. Sweeten with honey, or simple syrup, if desired. Enjoy!

    1. Sure. Frozen peaches will work fine. They probably won’t be as pretty for a garnish, but it’s fine for the tea.

  1. How many calories in the peach tea if you don’t add sugar? Wasn’t sure if the peaches added calories on their own. Thank you.

  2. My husband LOVES tea, so I couldn’t wait to try this tea. It was absolutely delicious. I’ll be keeping this recipe handy, since we dink tea all year round here in Arizona.
