Cocktail Sauce is so easy to make at home! This Homemade Cocktail Sauce literally takes 2 minutes and 5 ingredients that you already have in the fridge!
I can just about guarantee you, that if you love food, you have these ingredients in your refrigerator, as we speak!
Why Make Your Own Cocktail Sauce?
You know how the door of your refrigerator has absolutely NO MORE room for another condiment? What with the ketchup, at least 2 kinds of mustard, pickles, soy sauce, mayonnaise, jellies, salad dressings, yada, yada, yada! If you make your own cocktail sauce as needed, you don’t have to add cocktail sauce to that list… and it tastes SOOOO MUCH Better!!!
In less than 2 minutes you can have cocktail sauce! This is also great when you run out of the store bought stuff!
Ingredients in Homemade Cocktail Sauce
- Good quality ketchup
- Prepared Horseradish
- Lemon Juice, fresh or bottled
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Bottle Hot Sauce (like tabasco)
How Long Will Homemade Cocktail Sauce Last in the Refrigerator?
This Cocktail Sauce Recipe will last a minimum of 2 weeks, if stored in the refrigerator. Due to the lemon juice and the tomatoes in the ketchup, cocktail sauce has a fairly low pH, so the acidity in the sauce will preserve it for quite some time!
