Beth Neels, affectionately known as Binky, welcomes you to her world of culinary delights and adventure. She and her family reside on a picturesque 30-acre farm in rural Upstate NY, where they share their lives with her husband, son, and three faithful dogs. Situated in the heart of apple country, fresh fruits and vegetables are always within arm’s reach, thanks to the bountiful local harvests.

Farm To Table – From Garden to Plate Armed with a bachelor’s degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Cornell University, Beth channels her botanical expertise to cultivate various fruits and vegetables during the summer. For those aspiring green thumbs, Beth offers a treasure trove of gardening wisdom in her How to Plant a Vegetable Garden Series. Comprising five comprehensive guides, it covers everything from planning and planting to maintenance and harvesting. The journey begins with “Planning Your Vegetable Garden.”

Beth crafts an array of delectable recipes from her thriving garden, some of which are lovingly preserved in her extensive canning section. The joy of concocting special treats, including desserts, is amplified by knowing that each ingredient is home-grown and organic. Weekly dinners, including quick 30-minute meals, often feature produce plucked straight from her garden. With numerous summer patio picnics, her grilling and smoking recipes, made with local ingredients, come in handy for planning memorable gatherings with friends and family.
